Addo Elephant Park, South Africa Nature Images
Addo Elephant National Park is home to 450 elephants and a variety of game. I think we saw all 450 during our day's excursion from nearby Port Elizabeth, South Africa. OK, not all, but a sizeable portion, as wave after wave descended on successive water holes. We also enjoyed a macho display by an old buffalo bull, and just for fun we have thrown in a dung beetle (likely the flightless variety that is nearly exclusive to this region). Many thanks to our long-time friends and hosts at PE!
